This famed region of high, sharp peaked volcanic mountains was farmed and settled by independent pioneering farmers in the first half of the last century. Our gourmet coffee thrives in the Tarrazu hillsides and is a favorite among millers and pickers.

We discern Lapa Azul from other Tarrazu region coffees by cultivating the beans on small farms and hand-selecting only the "best of the best" ripened cherries. Our commitment to these fine details produces a distinctive coffee with very good body & bold aroma.
